It’s been said by many great Automotive Enthusiasts:
"Two cars make a meet."
Sometimes, you have to go out and find those cars.
The May 6
th Mark VII Club Meet at the Old
Country Buffet in Carney Maryland was the least-attended meet to date, with
only Rick (One_Way) Eckenrode showing up for breakfast.
After waiting for 30 minutes, I decided to move on and
chip away at some work I need to complete. So I headed back to Hazard
County, Maryland, picked up a hoagie and Diet Coke at the local Wawa, and
headed to the shop I work at on Saturdays.
Not much is left of my ’92 parts car, but previous
owners installed poly-urethane end link bushings on this car. So all 4 link
pins were removed from the black car and installed on my red car. There IS
a noticeable decrease in body roll when cornering.
If you were wondering, that blue ’67 Mustang is NOT FOR
SALE. It’s been sitting in that spot for 10 years, and previously sat at
the old shop for 5 years. At one time, it was a nice solid piece, but the
years have taken their toll on the Stang. The hood is rusted in half (under
the hood) and there is rust all over. Floors do not seem too bad. But the
fool that owns this is going to restore it someday.
Anyway, it
was a spectacular day to get out and have some fun with cars. And once in a
while, its good to be by yourself.
