The New England Chapter held a breakfast meet on September 10 in Manchester, CT at the Hometown
Buffet. We were very pleased to act as hosts to Tim Crisdon from PA who traveled up the night before
for the meet. Others in attendance were John "Johnny" Targonski from West Springfield and Nick
"ND4SPDLSC" Wong also of West Springfield. After the meal and ensuing discussions on junk yard
runs and snakes in Nick’s eBay car, we checked out each other rides and traded tech tips and tricks.
The rest of the afternoon was spent attending the Mustang Car Club of America’s car show at
Mustangs Unlimited down the road. The show had many Mustangs from mild to wild and anything in
between. A number of the participants entered exceptional condition stock vehicles. The majority of
the show field consisted of Fox Mustangs, every generation of Mustang was represented. Notable
entrants include a number of SVO Mustangs, a number of original Shelby Mustangs, including an original
GT350H and a new GT500. A phenomenal time was had by all and we look forward to seeing Tim again.
Hopefully, he will get a chance to meet some of the other New England members. We greatly enjoyed
and appreciated his visit.
