1984 base model brake lines

Postby Panamerica » Sat Oct 01, 2016 7:00 pm

I have a leaky brake line/tube on my 84... It's the long one that goes to the back... anyone know where I can find a replacement? If not does anyone have specs (tube size, connector size/thread etc.)?

Thanks!

There are no pre-bent lines for our Marks as far as I am aware. New ones must be bent from rolls of line. Yours is an '84, so I think that is before the teves unit was used. I'm not 100% certain if line sizes changed over the years of the Mark's production, but I have a '90 and had to do the lines recently. Its 1/4" ID to the rear and 3/16" ID to the fronts, double flares.

Wanted to give you a starting point - someone else who also has an '84, or who knows more should definitely chime in.
"Ivory" - 1990 Mark VII Bill Blass Edition
3G Alternator, Arnott Air springs front/rear, hardwired dashcam, Tigerpaw whitewalls, all 4 brake lines new NiCopp, all else factory.
In the works - Backup cam, Addco#415.

Thank you for the correct ID sizes!
