Platinum? Not impressed!

Bosch Platinum (top) vs. Motorcraft Copper (bottom), both after 50,000 miles. Note the platinum electrode is gone on the Bosch plug and that the Motorcraft plug has no combustion chamber deposits. My '89 LSC now idles more smoothly and starts faster with the new Motorcraft Copper spark plugs. Once again, Motorcraft trumps (no pun intended) other brands. I will stick with them!

Excellent. I grew up with copper plugs being high tech, so I also try to go that route when I can. We want the new trick plugs to do better, but I agree, they don't impress.
1991 Red Special Edition, my 2nd SE, dead paint, DWS 255/45/17's on 95 Cobra wheels, and soon; DVD/Navi/backup camera, OBDII and the 347, before custom paint.
98 Mountaineer with Continental DWS 255/55/18's, big sway bars, custom brakes. Soon to be A4WD with XP8 bumpers and wing.

Thank you for the review!

I've used both but for different purposes, and received favorable results from both.
