Window switch?

Postby Socks » Sun Dec 10, 2017 8:48 pm

I have to work the window switch on my 88Mk7 several times to get i9t to power the window. Are there any replacement switch's for these? Any tips on how and what to try to resolve this problem? I already done the motor overhaul a few years back. Any help would be great Thanks

Check your window rocker switch KNOB first.
The plastic knob uses a lot of torque to momentarily move the red tipped switch forward or back ward.
Remove the knob by pulling it straight up and verify that the rectangular socket has all four sides in tact.
