Car height

My front driver side won't raise to where it should be unless I jack out up then it's fine any ideas

Welcome, and check the height sensors, one at the back of each lower control arm. There are three height settings, a slot with three round locations that the adjustment bolt can go into. The stock setting is the middle one, the other two raise or lower the car a noticeable amount.

the car air ride has been disconnected and I made manual with switches to the compressor as well as each solenoid. The air bag takes and keeps full amount of air but won't raise unless I jack it up then it's fine

Check the bags for how they are shaped, they could be twisted and notable to inflate properly. Installing them is tricky, some people have trouble and it comes down to being seated properly as they get inflated for the first time.

I don't know what else to suggest, the solenoids are simple open/closed switches. If you have enough pressure, they should inflate fully.

Weak or leaky compressor maybe? Compressor may not have enough pressure to lift car but is capable of inflating spring when car is lifted :roll: ? Just my two cents worth...
