Happy May.

All is well.

Now that my private life has been somewhat handled, it's time to play with cars. Only 125 new topics for me to address <g>.

Have you ever said anything to someone and as soon as you've put the period on the sentence, realized that what you just said was the very WORST thing that you could have said?

Goodbye D.

You were the best thing that ever happened in my life.

It sounds like you had a great time with Dereck visiting there. I'm glad to hear that.

BTW, the comment about foot in mouth, I've got a good one. About 30 years ago I was working at a car dealership, and the wife of the parts manager came in one day and asked if anyone knew where her husband was. I had heard earlier that the cashier/secretary had needed a ride, so without pausing or thinking I quickly said, "yes, he took Marilyn to Desperado's."
...

That Desperado's was a night club, and the wife had left quickly before anyone could mention that the husband was only giving her a ride. That didn't work out very well for the husband, and I learned a lesson. :?

HA!

Dereck and Jane always brighten up the states when they visit.

The "D" that I referenced though was someone else.

I may actually get some things done at my home this weekend. Definately have enough parts available.

Wow.
I've gone EIGHT MONTHS without a post here. Primarily due to our Gallery program being deprecated. I've used it on three sites for (gulp) twelve years and over 10,000 pictures. Picture attachments take up Forum hardware resources so I've left that function available for Club Members to take advantage of where as I've hosted MOST of my personal pictures on another site.

Since July 2015, all of the at home car stuff has been a repeat of what I've already either posted about or written an article about. With FUR drivers and THREE projects, it sorta comes down to soap-scrub-rinse-repeat :)

Home repairs/upgrades/etc came to a screeching halt when the very possibility of moving reared it's ugly head July 2015. Since then I've only cleared the main drain on the house and THAT wasn't pretty. I think I posted the tools on FaceBook for S&G.

I also don't post in this thread unless I'm caught up on the View unread posts feature of the Forum. I've been at least a week behind for MONTHS.

I'm caught up.

Spring is here.

And one of my 1984 projects is SCREAMING for attention. [rhetoric]Anybody got a 1984 in tank fuel pump for sale?[/rhetoric]

We used to have fun w/ our manager's uptight wife at a home center where I worked. She was always following up on Todd. So sometimes when she called we'd answer, "He went to lunch (or whatever) w/ his wife". Understandably, Todd didn't think it was too funny. He had to deal w/ her later.

Spring is here finally. I'm trying to begin yard work and get my newly bought 98 Explorer drivable. Our mail count is over and I can move on from that stress now. I'm headed outside now.

Hehe.
Actually, I ~am~ just a figment of you Guys' imagination. ".

To further clarify a post from a year ago, "D" was not Dereck Cook. Dereck Cook is Dereck Cook and "D" is someone completely different.

The next home project should be the removal of the storm windows. Not too big a job. Only twenty windows and six exhaust fans.

Glad to see that you are back and still "around" :)

Well, with the beginning of spring, our next home project is building a small addition to our little house. It has been months of planning, re-planning, drawings and re-drawing and not to mention all the BS with the city/county for approval, permits and fees. I'm glad that we started the process months ago and now the "permit" should be approved in a few weeks. You would think we were building a 40 room mansion, not a small addition with all the "stuff" that needs to be done before any construction can begin. Well this is California and I guess we just have to roll with it... Ya gotta love it how everyone must be involved if there is a "fee" needed to complete the task....

Soap, scrub, rinse, repeat and roll on 8-)

BTW I think I know who D is and will leave it as that.......

Whoops.

I'm back.
Well.
Since the Club's GALLERY program was deprecated (no longer allowed on ISP's servers due to it's age) I found another solution BUT, it took ... time ... at home to complete.

I transferred over 6000 Club Event photos from 2004 through the present, to the Club's Official Facebook page at, https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheLincolnMarkVIIClub/photos/
