On the accumulators, I'm just curious if anyone here would be interested on the ones in the eBay link for a group buy? I'm asking the seller if he would do a group buy but, it depends if I can get anyone here to jump on board and how many you be interested in purchasing. Also, just curious on how much you would pay for one?

The Club did this years ago with a company called SPINNING WHEELS and we actually bought out ALL of their inventory :)

I would be in at $125.00 per unit.

Sorry for lack of response to this thread. I tried contacting the seller last year and never heard anything back. I could attempt to contact the seller again but, I believe the seller is pretty much firm on his price especially after selling over 150 of these now. If you look at the reviews, you see that people aren't completely happy with the price. However, these sell pretty decent as I watch the item frequently and the seller realizes they have the market cornered for now.

I just asked this question on another accumulator ball thread here. I'm about to buy a 25528382-clone acc. ball. It apparently sits about an inch taller than the original but the Mark seems to have the vertical room to accommodate it. And the pressure seems compatible (10ATM I think...?). I'm just concerned about the thread compatibility and depth..anyone used one of these on their Mark?? Mine's an '86 with the short nipple ball...appreciate the help guys...

Hello, I sent the seller a message via eBay again yesterday. So, I heard back from the seller and the lowest price he'll go if enough people were on board for purchasing these would be $250. That's the latest and greatest regarding the accumulator balls replacements.

If it is indeed the part we need, $250 is better than the $400.00 from Jaguar.

Hello, yes that is true. In order for this seller to give us the discount I would need a small group of people to be committed to purchasing these at this price. The thing here is that there is currently three of these left and then he may not have any for a while since his supplier has to produce more for him. I realize $250 seems steep however, there is kind of specialty item. I'm just wondering how many individuals here would be interested in purchasing at $250 shipped if anyone?

First of all, congratulations on 100 posts here at the Club.

Second, John Dancy is in at $250 for a TRUE 3000 pound brake accumulator ball for our Lincoln Mark VIIs (with three days notice).

John, thank you for the warm congratulations on my 100 posts here which will 101 after this post. Thank you for letting me know you would be interested. We'll see if anyone steps up to the plate. Right now the seller has two of these left until he receives another shipment. Thank you again and I will wait to see if anyone else would be interested.

Guys, I just ordered an AC Delco 25528382 clone (brand new) for $169 + $10 shipping. I am placing some trust in the various people here who commented that this ball will work on the Teves-equipped Mark 7. Two specific people said that they or someone they knew had used a 25528382, one on a T-Bird and another on an actual Mark 7. I can post the seller's eBay handle here if anyone's interested as he has about 5 left...sure hope it works... :)
